Hello,

Since reinstalling my Mac and install Adobe 2020 - I can''t preview videos in Bridge.

I hear the sound, but I only get a blank document in the Preview Pan.

Help me out here 🙂

I am on a mac pro using Catalina

I get sound and video with MP 4 videos.

My suggestion would be to delete and reinstall Bridge 2020

Hello, you need to provide more information. What kind of codec in those MP4 files? what size are they (check in preferences for "do not process files larger than...")

Which version of MacOS (please post the contents of Help>System info from Photoshop)

Same problem in Windows. Bridge 2019 plays MP4 files in Preview. Bridge 2020 does not, with same files.

MP 4 files as big as 800 mb work just fine on my Windows machine as well.

Suggest you make sure you have the latest video drivers installed, delete Bridge, and reinstall.

Make sure you reset your Bridge preferences.

Uninstalling and re-installing didn't help. Preview still does not play videos in Bridge 2020, but it works just fine in Bridge 2019.
I don't think it is a video driver problem. Videos play just fine in other apps like VLC, Windows Media Player, etc.

I shouldn't have to reset my Bridge preferences, should I? I don't want to lose them between versions. What preference setting would cause this? The same preference settings in Bridge 2019 don't affect video preview playback.

UPDATE: A reboot worked! Playback now works normally.

Sorry; I should have tried that earlier.
