Old Metadata Template Applied During Image Import

Community Beginner ,

Recently, since the 2019 update, I have noticed that my Bridge import is adding my old copyright template even though Bridge shows the new one when I open it in edit template. This is what happened to me,

  1. I moved house so I updated my copyright template and all is well.
  2. Adobe Bridge 2019 version comes out so I upgrade.
  3. I go out shooting and import my images using 'Get Photo's From' import tool.
  4. I notice that the imported photos which get my template applied contain my old data for all images imported right back to the date of the upgrade.
  5. I run a test and find that it happens again even if I apply the basic template.
  6. I contact Adobe Tech Support and 2.5 hrs later after many tests and screenshots, nothing is any different except I have re-installed several times.
  7. I close my support and try to rectify myself as Adobe tech has no clue....

I am currently trying to remedy this myself and will update this post if I manage to fix it.

So, since I posted this message, I've uninstalled Bridge 2019 (and all other Bridges) deleted all of the Bridge folders in My Programs and in my user profile under appdata. I've re-installed Bridge, opted for not importing old data from older versions of Bridge and my current template is still there and it still imports the old version of my metadata template.

Anyone got any thoughts?
