Photo Downloader not working - new computer

Hi all - any ideas? I've just moved off my old Macbook to a Macbook air M2. While the Photo Downloader opens I am unable to select any of the buttons or check boxes. The drop downs work but nothing else does so i can't import, cancel, select a folder or get images. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you checked your Security & Privacy settings in your MacOS preferences? Open it up and click on Files and Folders and look to see if Adobe Bridge is allowed to access your files and folders.
