Hi All,

I am new to Bridge CC, trying to get away from Apple's Photos. Normally, I keep the photo in the SD card without deleting it automatically.  But when I download a second time, Bridge CC does not recognize that the photo has already been download and is downloading for the second time. Is there anyway to prevent this duplication?

Many thanks,
Apollo

You are using the Bridge Photo Downloader program, Correct?

If so there is no option in that dialog window, or in Bridge, to detect If the same images are already in the folder you have specified as the place to copy the images to.

Bridge is just a File Manager and has no DAM functions.

If you are a CC subscriber are you only subscribing to Photoshop or are you using Bridge without an Adobe subscription?

If you are a Photographers Plan subscriber you could install Lightroom Classic CC to get images off your cameras memory card and LR will detect if those images are already in the LR catalog file.

How do I get LR Classic to open when I connect my iPhone instead of Bridge opening?
