Hi Bocamag,
Sorry to hear that pdf preview is not filling the preview screen in Adobe Bridge, could you please let us know the exact version of Bridge and operating system you're working on?
Also, could you try resetting the preferences of Bridge and see if it helps? Troubleshoot Adobe Bridge for freezes and performance issues

I am using Bridge CC 2019 and High Sierra 10.13.6
I have Reset preferences, reset the default workspace, and purge the cache
but didn't seem to make a difference

I have the same problem. Previews are scalable for many file types, but PDF files are very small and illegible.
I am quite certain that previous versions of Bridge had scalable previews of PDF files.
It is very frustrating to have to open a PDF file in order to preview it or read the content.

Have you enlarged the Preview pane?

The simplest solution is often the best: unfortunately it does not matter what size I make the preview pane; the preview for a PDF file is always the same size; small.
I've gone through the preferences and did not find anything to change there, either.
There may be something else I am overlooking, but not to my knowledge.
Thanks

Blame Acrobat, not Bridge.
Preview is set to a max resolution no matter what size you scale the preview window to.
Want to know why?
Just use the Control L click button to bring up the Loupe.
This is also a problem when using output panel.

I'm not sure that I understand your reply.
I do see that the resolution does not improve on a PDF file when using the loupe tool; nor does it improve when increasing the size in the full screen preview.
So, Are you saying that when Acrobat creates a PDF file, it sets a fixed preview resolution that Bridge cannot override in the Preview screen?
Thanks for your help.

Basically
Yes
Bridge would have to have the Acro reader interface for it to view and
scale properly as a plugin.
I have suggested that vary feature several times.

Great.
Thanks for the info.
Very frustrating that these products are not seamless with each other.

Thanks so much for you help with this issue I have been frustrated about this for quite sometime? If I understand correctly it is a change in Acrobat not Bridge? This was not an issue prior to the CC 2018 upgrade. Also it is an issue with "Older" PDF's as well. ie viewing PDF's created as far back as 2012 will not view full screen either. So there is not a work around?
