just to preface this, i am in a photography class and my professor requires us to rename all of our raws, save the psd file of our finished images, and save our finished imagea as jpgs.
so i had a psd file in a folder with my raws and finished jpgs. i didn't realize i forgot to rename them before saving my psd files and creating my finished jpgs, so i went to do that. and after i did that, my psd file was just ... unaccessible. in explorer it said the image was an XMP file despite it being a psd before. in bridge, it says it is a psd file but will not open in photoshop. i went into photoshop to see if i could open it from my recents, but when i opened it it said it had been deleted or removed. but it was never in my recycle bin, that was the first place i checked. i'm trying to use windows file recovery to see if i can somehow get it off my disk but haven't had any luck yet.
does anyone know if i can find the deleted file in bridge?
using a lenovo ideapad 3.
