Renaming multiple files

adobe bridge renames files with "AdobeBridgeBatchRename" which I don't want how do I stop it?

Please post a screenshot showing your Batch Rename settings.

It appears that you are attempting to batch rename 4 files giving them all the same name. You need perhaps a sequence number adding to distinguish them.

That's not the problem, the numbering is sorted out automatocally.  Bridge is appending "AdobeBridgeBatchRename" to the file name which I don't want.

Reason is as I said. If you add a sequence number to your renaming settings you should find it works without your problem.

I tried renaming a bunch of files using the exact same Batch Rename settings as you have posted. I cannot replicate your issue.

I can only suggest you carry out a Bridge Preferences reset as this cures all manor of ills.

In case you are not familiar with this, here is the procedure:

Quit Bridge (if running).

Just before restarting Bridge, press Control-Alt-Shift and keep your fingers on those keys as you start Bridge until you see a window pop up. From the window, choose “Reset Preferences".
