Seeking an expert in Bridge to advise in setting up workflows in tandem w Lightroom and InDesign.  Already use Lightroom to manage photo assets but needing to apply bulk metadata, manage a large library of InDesign Files.   Looking to indentfy how to best use Bridge and Lightroom in tandem in a compreheesive and cohesive workflow.  Looking to understand how scripting can be applied to this integration.  Expertise of best practices of best leveraging  LR and Bridge in tandem is a must.   Scripting knowledge would be helpful.

The communication between InDesign and Bridge is possible using ExtendScript, but not with Lightroom, however you may do some tasks in Br (also by automation) that are not accessible in Lr.

Be careful using Lightroom and Bridge together. For example, there is a bug in keywords that causes problems (data loss) when switching from one to the other.

 

Really, you are better off picking one and sticking with it rather than trying to integrate them.
