Sort folders first (Mac)

Hello experts,

I have Bridge CC 2017 on a MacBook OS 10.12.6 (Sierra).

In the content pane I want to sort alphanumerically listing FIRST the sorted folders and then listing the sorted files.

I cannot see how to do this.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm, it should work this way by default and then there is also the “manual” method to sort.

Thanks but...
Unfortunately this does not work as you can see in the image below.  Sorting manually is not realistic when I wish ANY folder I go to to show folders first, then files.
