Takes Forever To Change Labels/Ratings

Contributor ,

Hey,

Bridge takes forever - like 20-30 seconds an image - to do something as simple as changing a label or a rating.  When I'm keywording, I can only enter info for two images before I have to wait for the first to finish updating - another 5-15 seconds.

Any ideas what's hanging things up here?  It's ridiculous.

Hi sjlocke,

As I understand that you are facing a lag while changing a label or rating for .psd files in Bridge. PSD files relatively big in size compared to jpeg's, You may try and reset the Bridge preferences back to defaults and check if that helps to fix this lag issue.

For resetting Bridge preferences, refer the document: Troubleshoot Adobe Bridge for errors and freezes

Let us know if the issue persists.

Mohit

This is only on .psd files.  .jpgs are relatively quick.
