The file cannot store XMP metadata. No changes will occur. Bridge

I had to reinstall Photoshop CS6 from scratch and am now getting the following Bridge error message and have no idea how to fix it:

"The file "xxxxx" cannot store xmp metadata. No changes will occur." where xxxxx is the folder name where the jpg files are located. The error appears whenever I select a keyword that I want to search for.

Is there anyone out there that can tell me what I need to do to fix problem - I would very much appreciate it.

Hi Jim,

Welcome to Adobe Community!

As you're getting the Cannot store xmp metadata, could you please try purging Bridge's cache and let us know if it helps? https://helpx.adobe.com/in/bridge/using/adobe-bridge-cache.html

Regards,
Sahil

Thanks for reply. I do not know why but as I was troubleshooting everything started to work like it should...no more error messages and find by keyworks properly. I have a suspicion that Bridge was still busy indexing pictures which was causing the error message?
