there was a problem writing metadata to...jpg

Started today, I file a jpg from a photoshop image.  I want to be able to add a keyword that I have been using for some number of months.  I get the following error:

 

There was an error writing metada to "Honey 2.jpg"

 

Honey 2 is my file name.

Windows 8.1

Bridge 8.1.0.383

x64

R-click the file in your file manager.

Check under properties, security

See if the file allows you full access.

You can also try renaming it.

I am having the same issue - but in windows 10.  The error began when I installed the latest version of Bridge.  And while I can edit metadata in the latest version, it doesn't have a way to batch add file names to the title, so I have to use Bridge 8.1.0 for renming and adding the file name to the metadata title and then go into the new Bridge to do metadata.  It is very frustrating.

I am having a similar issue and recieving the same "There was an error writing metadata to "xxxxxxxxx.jpg". I am on the 12.0.2.252 version of Bridge. Any quick fixes? Thanks!
