Unable to launch Photoshop's Image Processor from Bridge 2022 (v12.0.4.286)

When I try to launch Photoshop's Image Processor tool from Adobe Bridge 2022 (v12.0.4.286), I get the following error message:

"Install the latest version of Photoshop to continue.."

I still encounter this error even after updating to the latest version of Photoshop (2025/v26.1.0).

Is there a way to fix this without installing the latest version of Bridge?  I'm not a big fan of the UI changes made in Bridge v13 and above.

Looks like you are trying to mix and match various versions of Bridge and Photoshop which don't work correctly together I'm afraid. You need to use these apps in the pairs in which they were intended otherwise you will run into incompatibility issues as you already have.

The one option you do have, which is not as convenient as running IP from Bridge, is running the script from PS itself.

It can be found in File (menu) -> Scripts -> Image Processor…

BTW, there is a new release of Bridge (15.0.2) that may solve some of the issues you have with the newer release, but it still has the other features that you do not like. It's still probably worthwhile for you to check out.
