What I suggest you try is to

1) Rebuild Bridge's Preferences: 

First, quit Bridge (if open). Then, when launching Bridge, press Command-Option (Mac)/Control-Alt (Win) + Shift to choose “Reset Preferences”, Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache”, and/or Reset Standard Workspaces.” In your case, chose "Reset Preferences."

If that doesn't work, then uninstall InDesign (maybe restart your computer (may not be necessary)), then reinstall.

Funny about that. One of Einstein's more famous quotes is that 'the definition of insanity is to do the same things twice but expect a different result.' (I'm quoting from memory on that so forgive me if I'm not exactly correct.)

The thing is, Einstein never worked with computers where you can do the same thing twice in a row and get THREE different results.
