I've been using the "move to Bin" when moving files to the trash. However when I go into my trash the files are not there.
Where the heck are the files if I want to recover them? I don't see a "BIN" anywhere.
Very frustrated.
TIA

Hi, @stefklynn, I cannot replicate this. When I trash items either from "Move to Bin," or from the Delete icon in the upper right corner of Bridge's window, they all end up in the trash.
Have you tried taking a known file with a known unique name, trashing that, and then doing a search for that file?
Also, what is your OS (and what release), and which release of Bridge are you using?
I'm on a Mac Studio with 13.1, running Bridge 130.2.636

hi @gary_sc , I'm using MacOS Ventura 13.1 Bridge 13.0.2.636.
I created a file with unique name & moved to bin. When I search for it it is not found on my computer at all. The images were on an external HD. MAybe that's the problem?? Either way I can't get them back 😞

Two things:
1), when you say Move to Bin, there are a number of ways to do this. Please be very specific as to which Move to Bin you are using. There's right-clicking on the image. Move to Bin from the File menu and clicking on the trashcan icon on the top right corner of Bridge's window. Note: all three of these work just fine for me.
Now, here's another thought: you mention that the files are on an external drive. Have you given Bridge full permission to access that drive? This is an Apple thing, not an Adobe thing.
Just so you have it, here's how:
Go into the System Preferences and select the select the Privacy & Security tab on the left, then select the Accessibility tab top.
Now, click on the "+" button on the very bottom, which will open a Finder's window into the Applications folder. Select Acrobat Pro. Be sure to slide the On/Off button to On (to the right). You may need to enter your administrator's password at some point. You also may need to quit Acrobat and reopen.
Please let us know if that works or not.
