Bridge Catalog? Are you meaning something like there is in Lightroom? If so, there is not one in Bridge. It's using a basic folder structure on your computer just like you can do on your own without the viewer interface. So if you are moving Bridge to another computer, you should also move over all of your image folders into a similar place & format as you have them now.

Yes Daniel is correct:  also Bridge automatically adds key words and metadata to images in background so you do not have to save to images as like what you have to do in Lightroom. So all metadata and keywords are saved already to your images. Bridge does not save the collections, So in order to save collections, add keywords to images with the name of collections. Than you can bring them up later and sort by keywords and remake your collections.

Hi MickL,

Thanks for reaching out!

Could you please explain your query in more detail with a brief description of your workflow? Which Adobe product are you referring to and which exact version of it are you using? (Is it Bridge or Lightroom?)

If you're referring to moving Lightroom catalog, you may refer this article How to create and manage catalogs in Photoshop Lightroom Classic

Thanks,

Akash

Hi Akash,

I am referring to Bridge in CS 6 suite. I'd like to save the catalog of

Bridge to re-install it on my new PC without loosing the whole keywords

hierarchy of thousands photographs. I do not use Lightroom but capture

one and Photoshop.

Thank you for your help.

There is no catalog in Bridge. If you need the keywords file, use the built-in export/import functions. Collections will not migrate over unless your drive letters and folder structure are identical.
