Why does Bridge always have to rebuild the criteria??

I've just started trying to determine if this can work for us for managing thousands of image files...so far not so great.

Why does Bridge always have to rebuild the criteria upon being opened?? Shouldn't this information be in cache??

This is how Bridge works. I manage a number of large folders (13,000+ files) and EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. it does this.

Numerous bugs have been filed on this behavior. Competing file management software doesn't have these performance issues. :sigh:

This occurs every time Bridge is opened to the designated folder in the Favorites section, and the resulting list of criteria is also somewhat inaccurate.
