Bridge Removes Rating When Labeling Photos

When I go to add a label to a newly edited photo, once labled it loses it's rating.  This has been frustrating because I am editing A LOT of photos at a time and the usuable/rated images when labled dissapear to the depths of the unrated images after losing their 5-star rating.

Any suggestions?  Using Adobe Br 2020 and have NEVER had this issue before.

Move the files to a hard drive. Working off the SD card is problematic.

Hmmm.  I see your point, but doing that is still cumbersome on my work-flow.

I'll take it into consideration.  Thanks.
