Hi, I need to be able to back up everything in bridge, keywords, collections, favorites, ratings, labels, all of it and everything so I can confidently restore it all back exactly as it is now. I would imagine all of these settings are in a directory or distributed among files, but I've searched and googled quite extensively without finding an answer on the specific files/directories. Thanks!

Some of these are in text files, some in preferences/registry depending on platform. Collections are machine-specific. Ratings are fixed- one star, two stars, etc. and can't be changed so there is nothing to back up there.

Thanks for answer, but how do I go about finding out WHICH text files, registry, etc?
When you say that ratings are "fixed" what do you mean? Bridge has to be storing those things somewhere, or is it making changing to the image files directly. And whatever it's storing and wherever that is, I need to be able to back that up. Otherwise, how does one effectively backup bridge? Or are you saying there's no way to effectively backup Bridge?

What do you want to backup? Rating and labels are writtenin the file or XMP sidecar. Keywords, and labels are also stored for Bridge so you can apply them to new files. Collections are stored but can't be moved between computers.
If you backup your user folder and all of your images, everything is backed up.
