photos not opening in bridge

So when I open bridge it has the open, open with, and a couple of the things you would need not selectable (greyed out), what do I do, I used to love using bridge, but if I can't open anything then I can't use them.

Hi,Can you try double clicking any photo, and that would open the photo in default application associated with it.To change the application association with a file type, you can sue the "File Type Association" preference in Bridge's Preferences dialog.Thanks,Deepak Gupta

Bridge is a browser… You need to select images in Bridge in order to interact with them using some menu commands, such as open.
