P: Book Module - Used/Unused filters are not showing the correct selection

I use the lightroom book module to make some pretty long albums (Like hundreds of pictures).  Earlier this week I installed the update, and now I can't filter the pictures in a saved book to only show unused photos.  This is critical when I'm using hundreds of pictures.  How do I fix it?

Try clicking on [Reset Default Presets] - It restored more options for me.

Look in the filter options- disclosure menu-  on the filmstrip (when in book module)

As of today's update I am having the same problem - when i select the Unused filter, it still shows every single photo in the collection. This makes it very hard  (impossible!) to work on large books when it is necessary to select photos from the unused ones. When I select the Unused filter, a message 'No Filter' momentarily appears on the screen. The Used filter has the same issue. Other filters only show the photos fitting the filter description. There must be a bug with these two filters.  Restore Default Presets did not fix the problem. I even tried deleting the Unused filter and restoring it.

I can reproduce this on Mac and Windows, and @Rob_Cullen 's workaround does not correct it for me.

Same here. Apple Mac Studio 2023 running MacOS 15.5, Lightroom Classic 14.4. It is now almost impossible to create the books that I create using the Book module.

There was a bug in LrC v14.4 that was not present in previous versions - the filtering of photos on the timeline in the Book Module based on the "used/unused" status does not work. I reported it almost two months ago and received feedback that the responsible team is aware of the problem and that they are working quickly to resolve it. However, the problem has not been resolved with the new version v14.5. The bug significantly slows down my work in the Book Module. I reported the problem again via chat support, but it was suggested to me to leave a comment about the observed problem here as well. I hope that this time the problem will be resolved quickly.

Looks like the bug is still active in the 14.4 version.  8/25/25 and still getting "No Filter" errors and can't sort by Unused photos to sort through hundreds of images in book module. This makes a book design a far more arduous task  - any updates on a fix coming soon?

The Book module Filter (e.g. Used, Unused) still does not work in LrC v 14.5.1. So recent updates have not fixed this bug. Very annoying.

J'essaie de créé un livre avec lightroom.

J'avais l'habitude de construire automatiquement le livre (Disposition automatique), puis de retravailler le résultat (suppression des photos doublons/ se ressemblant ou que je ne veux pas mettre dans mon livre).

Ayant plus de photos que le livre accepte.

J'utilise le filtre "non utilisée" pour me permettre de gére un système de notation pour relancer après une nouvelle disposition automatique (toutes les photos ont 1 étoiles, je supprime l'étoile aux photos que je ne retient pas) . 

Le filtre "Utilisé" ou "Non utilisée" ne fonctionne plus avec la version 14.5.1.

je suis sur Windows 11.

Quel solution avez vous, car actuellement, je ne peux pas refaire de livre... ?
