Favicon in BC

Hi Guys

Just wanted to know where to place a favicon.png file in order for BC to display it? I tried in the img root and also in the general root but it doesn't show. Also, do I need to use the .ico file extension? I this it is superseded and now we can use .png instead.

Hi Mica,

For browser compatibility it is not a .png you use but the .ico extension (icon file)

It is not just putting that file in the root that will make it work. In your templates in the head code you need to make the facicon declaration and path:
