How to exclude BC subdomain from search engines

Hi

How to exclude BC subdomain from search engines results? I don't want mywebsite.businesscatalyst.com to be indexed only the real domain. Having BC showing is bad SEO practice and bad in general.

BC has built in the needed tools to avoid this from happening out of the box.

If you have links in your site that link to it or the link has been shared and linked on other sites it will still show up. These are the only cases where this would apply now with the changes BC did several months ago.

Check through your site, look at your sitemap.xml and ensure there are no urls with the development url in them.

It's really hard to know what has been changed in BC. Almost half of the KB I read are redundant but thanks anyway.

Blog for release info. I know the KB is a mess, IF I could clone myself or stop time id be able to solve that now rather then taking an age.
