Domain name is hosted by hostgator.com how do I link up my site?

I have just paid hostgator.com to register my domain name. How do I link up my website to this address?

Hi

Now you have to add the domain to your site and redelegate the domain so that it should point to your site.

You can add the domain in Admin > Site Settings > Manage Domain

You need to point that domain to your site on Business Catalyst.

Either you can redelegate domain to BC's DNS servers or host your domain with external DNS provider and point A-records to your BC site.

How long does it typically take to switch from another host to Business Catalyst after updating the DNS servers? I am now getting the following error:

This site can’t be reached

www.18thhour.com’s server DNS address could not be found.

• Search Google for 18th hour

ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Is the site just propagating or did I do something incorrectly?
