Error getting access token - JWT signature

New Here ,

This is my first time posting, so please let me know if there's anything I need to change about this question. I've searched the forums with any key words I could think of, as well as Google, and haven't been able to find anything like this.

I'm trying to update a script that accesses the adobe api, and is currently working in production. To update it, I need to get it working on my local computer, and right now, when I attempt to connect to the AdobeIO API, I am given the error:

Error getting access token: {"error_description":"Could not match JWT signature to any of the bindings","error":"invalid_token"}

Does anyone know what this could mean? The token doesn't expire until next year, and the error section in the adobe documentation doesn't mention this specific error. As far as I can tell, the private key is in the right format, so I don't think that's the issue either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your response, Stephen! It turns out the certificate had expired and I didn't have the right private key anymore. Have a great day!

Hi Alicia,

I think you have the wrong forums as this section of the forums is for Adobe Business Catalyst.

I think if you click Product downdown menu at the top of these forums, you can choose the adobe product you're after.
