How to Create Subdomain with Separate Shopping Cart Layout

I need help with creating multiple vendor websites with branded product pages and shopping cart experience.  Here is part of the conversation I had with the LiveChat.  I use Adobe Muse for the Layout Template, and Business Catalyst for the eCommerce. I figured out that I could duplicate catalogs and give them a separate template. The problem I run into is the Shopping Cart and Quote Registration only can have one template. Is there any way to work around this?

Hi I've added a (A) Record above, and created a duplicated Catalog for Chairs to see if I could create multiple A Records for different Branding using the same Products.

The website that they are all pointing to is http://www.ampaevents.com/rentals.html

It seems like things are working like I want except when I get to the shopping cart and quote registration it goes back to the Default template.

Is there a way to have seperate templates for shopping cart a quote registration?

Well the benefit of working in Business Catalyst is that you can create your own Module Templates. Business Catalyst will always give you default options, but if you want 5 different pages with the same content, modified to suit your customer's needs then you will have to create a template. http://docs.businesscatalyst.com/dev-assets/reference#!/tag-reference/custom-templates/custom-templates.html Here is a video that gives step by step instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukNqmm_UKsg L

The wrok around is you use the multi lingual aspect of BC and use the multi lingual layouts for your multiple vendors. It is a horrible hack to do this and looking at what you are trying to do, maybe a cookie and heavy javascript may be a better option. Alternatively, don't use BC for this style of system. I would probably look at an alternative if this was my scope as BC really does not support multiple vendors in this way. Maybe a Wordpress Mutli site would be a better idea because you still could not use multiple payment gateways in your BC solution.
