Hello everyone. So it is my understanding that if I want to have a username/password login page for each user of my website, it can only be done through a Business Catalyst integration, using them for hosting and to create my CMS. If this is true, where do I start?
I have created for my client a website that contains school curriculum lessons that will be accessed by hundreds of teachers across the nation. I don't need a very complicated user registration page because my client is the one who will be creating each individual user's account in the database and then email the user saying "your account has been created. here is your username and password". However, somewhere in the login process for the end-user, I do need to at least have the option to reset their password if the user forgot theirs. But all the "fields" for that user will be created by the client so there's no need for a formal registration page for the end-user.
My questions are:
Where do I start?
How and where will my client start creating all their users within BC?
Where do I design how the login page is going to look like... do I still build that page in Muse and how do I tie it in to BC?
I really appreciate any and all help on this!
Thank you!
