Hello,
I have noticed that the color temp. in ACR is inverse actual color temp. ???
The colder it gets the lower the number??
Actual color temp goes like this, an incandescent bulb (very hot) is 2900 K
Overcast day is 5000 K
Blue sky (back to the sun) is about 6500 K
Is there any way to change the scale so it reads as it should?

Their explanation is that you are not setting the color temperature, but the correction for (the amount of compensation for) the temperature. See this existing thread about the same question:
