Adaptive Portrait in Raw

Hi To all

Im finding that on one of my Macs , that when i apply  enhanced portrait  in Raw that the subjects face is made washed out and  white. Am i missing something? on my other Mac running all the same specs this does happen at all.

I assume that either no one else has this  issue or knows the solution, ill go to tech support
