Apply Previous Settings does not apply the previously selected Calibration: Process Version

In ACR, Apply Previous Settings does not apply the previously selected Calibration: Process Version. No matter which process version was previously used, it defaults to Version 6.

Greetings @Stateless

Both of the nuances you're describing (Previous and Preset) are as-designed behavior.

Application of edit settings via any method to a PV3 or later will automatically be updated to the latest PV Version (which is currently Process Version 6).

I hope that answers your questions.

Camera Raw is not applying the correct calibration version when using a preset.

I set the version to 5, create preset with "calibration" checked and "process version" is greyed/uneditable but checked by default.

I then load the preset and the calibration is back to version 6 instead of 5.

Why were these posts merged? These are completely different issues as one involves presets and the other does not. The preset is probably the most pressing of the two issues as it means presets give an unexpected result.

@Rikk Flohr: PhotographyIf it is as-designed, then why does preset creation allow you to select the PV version to be included if it's just going to be ignored anyway? This is clearly not by design or is poorly designed and either way should be fixed.

This design choice also breaks all LUTs that are used with PS, which I had hoped was a bug and not an intentional oversight. A few degrees of hue change is a visible difference. Why is PV6 being forced?
