Camera Raw 13.3 insanely slow on macOS

It might be my Mac, but it almost new with a lot of storage, memory and ram. But Camera Raw 13.3 is not working at all. Everything lags (especially cropping) and takes extreme amount of time! Frustrated 🤯

We're sorry about the experience due to the performance issues with Camera Raw. Would you mind telling us which macOS version are you working on? Did you start experiecing the issue after the latest Camera Raw update?

You can try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor from Camera Raw by going to the Preferences using the gear icon at the top right of the Camera Raw UI or through Photoshop. Once there, you would find the option under Performance. After disabling the option, relaunch both Photoshop & Camera Raw to check if that helps.

If the issue persists, you can try to reset the Preferences of Camera Raw using the steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/camera-raw-settings.html#ResetCameraRawpreferences
