I've created some actions that apply a Camera Raw Filter White Balance: Auto adjustment which simply act as an Auto White Balance action. When trying to use this action after Camera Raw Version 12.4, rather than applying White Balance: Auto, the action applies the Auto Temperature and Tint parameters that the action was originally created with and no longer does an Auto adjustment, which makes the action completely useless. Rerecording the action in new versions does no good either, as the action just calls the new recorded Auto parameters.
Is this a bug or is this intentional?
Is there a work around to create an action step that enacts/applies Camera Raw Auto White Balance without baking in exact Temperature and Tint numbers to the action step?
Thanks

What do you mean, exactly by "I've created some actions that apply a Camera Raw Filter White Balance."
ACR as a filter inside of PS?
Presets (not really PS actions)?

In Photoshop, I have a PS action that applies a Camera Raw Filter. The only settings changed are Basic > Change from White Balance: As Shot to White Balance: Auto.
After Camera Raw Plugin 12.4, instead of applying White Balance: Auto, Camera Raw Plugin now only applies the White Balance: Auto Temp/Tint values from the input image that the PS action was originally recorded with. So if the Camera Raw Filter is recorded as a step in a PS action, it will no longer apply White Balance: Auto values based on the input layer it's being applied to. It will now only apply the White Balance: Auto values of the input image the action was initially recorded with.
With Camera Raw Plugin 12.4 and prior, White Balance: Auto recorded as a step in a PS action would apply the Auto White Balance based on the current layer's input image and disregard the temp/tint values from the input image that the action was recorded with.
This only happens when using Camera Raw Filter as an action. White Balance is applied properly when not being used in an action.
In Photoshop, is there a way to record an action with Camera Raw Filter to only change White Balance from As Shot to Auto, without recording the Temp/Tint Values into the action step?
Was this change after 12.4 intentional or is it possibly a bug?
My steps for recording the action:
Open Image in Photoshop
Begin Recording Action
Filter > Camera Raw Filter
Inside Camera Raw Filter: Basic > Change White Balance: As Shot to Auto > OK
Stop Recording
