Camera Raw freezes Photoshop

My image is a simple jpg image. After I make the changes on Camera Raw and press to apply the changes that rotating animation (showing work in progress) keeps rotating to infinity, Photoshop freezes and I have to "kill" PS via Ctrl + Alt + Del. Started happening 2 days ago, after the recent update.

I tried:

Preferences->General and turn off "Export Clipboard"

But that didn't change a thing.

My PS version is 23.4.2

Both PS and Camera Raw are up to date.

Try resetting your ACR preferences, better?
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (MacOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"
