I thought this is an Adobe forum..? 🙂 ARC =   Adobe Raw Converter ...Photoshop.

Again ... I used to be able to drag the ARC window to one or the other monitor, arrange size, etc, and from then on it would always open there. Now it only opens in default setup in the primary monitor and I can't move it.

Thanks

camera raw (or adobe camera raw) != ARC

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Sorry, I wasn't aware being in the wrong department. Just went from Help in Creative Cloud hub.

So, it's been moved? Will I get response from there?

Thanks

your posts are in the camera raw (cr) forum (https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw-discussions/can-t-drag-arc-window-into-second-monitor/m-p/... where you have a chance of attracting the attention of cr experts, as opposed to the community forum which is for issues about using the adobe forums.

Thanks kglad, for the transfer.

Here are the details again ... anybody??

I used to be able to drag the ACR window to one or the other monitor, arrange size, etc, and from then on it would always open there. (as with PS or Bridge) Now it only opens in default setup in the primary monitor and I can't move it. It only started after I got a new machine and after re-installing PS. I have an identical machine at home ... exactly the same setup ... dual display settings ... no problems.

How to drag the ACR window to the other monitor. It's stuck.

Thanks

Hi All,

I solved the problem ... very simple, actually silly.

The ACR window always opened so tight to the upper edge of the monitor that the upper frame edge was not visable ... therefore nothing to grab on with the cursor ... and me being unaware.

Luckily, after open/close many times at one time a small sliver of the upper frame was visible and I could grab it and move to the other monitor where it now opens always at set size, placement, etc.

Glad it was a simple problem and hope it might ease some possible frustration in case someone exerienses the same.

Cheers

Thanks driving me nuts, although couldn't see a slither persevered and got some window handles to suddenly appear. seemed to change with adobe update as rest system not changed win 11. Needed to move it to the 100% adobe larger monitor to work on. Even adobe seemed to infer it could only be on the primary, I've used it for years on the 3rd or 2nd monitor without issue.
