Can you explain to me what happened to the BRUSH TOOL we have been using for 10 years???

Do you think mask and brush are the same thing? As a master photoshop user and photographer, I can definitely say that making adjustments by masking is not a substitute for navigating the image with a brush in your hand. The brush tool should be brought back with an immediate update.

Another issue is what a bad interface it is. Please put a revert button to the 2020 version. It is impossible to use camera raw as it is.

Type the B key, you get the Brush to Heal or Clone; is that what you're missing? Not impossible to use!

Type the K key, you get a Masking Brush; NOT the same.

There is nothing to "bring back". You need to learn to use the tool(s) provided** and if you don't like it, don't upgrade (turn off Auto Update for Photoshop for one).
