I just bought a Canon EOS RP and I can't open the file using Photoshop CC 2022 software. Got this error message. "Could not complete your request because it is not the correct document type". I've updated the Adobe Camera Raw plugin to 12.2.1 and uninstalled/reinstalled PS. Still no luck. I have also read many articles on several websites but nothing works. I don't want to use DNG Converter because there are too many photo files.
The file format is .CR3 like the EOS R. Any suggestions?

Sorry if my writing is a bit messy because it's not my native language, I hope someone can help me. Thank you

That model was supported since 11.2.1.

Could there be something corrupted in that CR3? Can you upload one to something like Dropbox or similar so we can test this raw?

Are you using the compressed RAW variants? Those may not be supported.
