When I updated my apps the Color Profile for the Canon R6 is now gone from Camera Raw. I still have it in Lightroom.  Did adobe take it away. Is it just me ?

You should see it in both. Show us a screen capture in Adobe Camera Raw.

The path for this profile is:

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/Camera/Canon EOS R6

I am attaching the drop down of the color profiles that I have in camera raw and lightroom. I have the ones that I bought before Adobe added the files in both programs. But in Camera raw they are missing. I am trying to find the/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/Camera/Canon EOS R6 . But I can not find that. I am sure it is there somewhere. I am not really familiar with my way around a mac.

Which are not loading? If you select "Browse..." can you navigate to them and load them?

The ones you can't find are ones you built, if so using what software?

All my custom built profiles are in another location:

/Users/~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw

I am sorry. I am so confused. I bought profiles before Adobe got the Canon R6 color profiles.( I never made profiles. ) The ones I purchased are showing up in the drop down. The Camera matching profiles that was relased last year are not showing up in my Camera Raw now. They are showing up in lightroom. I noticed them missing a few days ago. I did find them in the place you told me to look. The file is there. They are just not loading.  Again I am sorry if I am not explaining myself good.

What profiles are missing (and are they for this model)? The profiles are specific for a specific model. A profile for a 5D will not show up for a 5D Mark II etc.

Camera Matching profiles are from Adobe; they seem to be showing up from what I can see.

You bought what profiles, where and what are the names and location?

clearly for R6 ... he shared screenshots where for the same camera model raw file LR shows different sent of profiles vs ACR... if he tries to browse from within Adobe app and can't see them even hidden that is strange

But you have no answers or assistance for him; nothing new from your posting agenda here.

Yes they are for the R6.  The file is there when you go to/Users/~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw.... They are just not loading in Camera Raw.

This fellow isn't posting here to help you. It's an old agenda that is part of his history; ignore him.

So let's actually keep trying to get you back to work. Let's try a reset of Adobe Camera Raw, can't hurt.

Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (macOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"

Any difference?

Can you maybe upload one of the problematic profiles and one raw to something like Dropbox IF the reset doesn't work.

Obviously you have nothing to add to the conversation which is to support this user. If you continue down this road, your future posting activities will suffer.

That did not work. I honestly dont know how to share the color profile . I am just lost at what to do. I do not have time to do reinstall right now to see if that would work.

Are you accessing Camera Raw from Bridge or Photoshop?

You can send me the profile to test via email. I'll private message you the address. Unlike a raw, it's small. I'll get a camera raw of your model elsewhere for testing.

I'll contact you after with my findings again via PM. This thread, thanks to the regular trollish behavior is over and done.
