Converting ARW to DNG

I do not want to convert all of my .ARW (Sony A99 II) to DNG.  Should I set up a seperate folder and copy the files I wish to convert into that and then save the converted files in the same (or another new) folder?

Yes, the converter works on a folder of images. Then save wherever you wish.
