Updated Camera Raw to version 16.2 this morning. Unfortunately my Photoshop crashes every time I use Camera Raw now. Never had any problems with Camera Raw...until now. I use Windows 11. Is it possible to go back to the previous version of Camera Raw?

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and find no crash reports in our system.

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?

Hi Rikk,

I did not see a crash dialog. After I made my adjustments for the photo in Camera RAW, I clicked on the 'open'-button. A spinning circle appeared and after some 10 seconds the Photoshop-window closed (no warning, no crash report). And that was it. I restarted Photoshop and tries again, same procedure, same result. Then I did following steps:

1. Restart my computer, start Photoshop, open my RAW-photo, made my adjustments and clicked the 'open'-button. Again the spinning wheel and after some 10 seconds the Photosop- window closed (no warning, no crash report).

2. Updated my graphics card driver (was from october 2023, now januari 2024). Then back to step 1, resulting in same result (no warning, no crash report).

3. Restarted Photoshop and made adjustment in Preferences -> Performance -> Advanced Settings and deselected 'GPU Compositing'. Then back to step 1, resulting in same result (no Warning, no crash report).

4. Restarted Photoshop and again made adjustment in Preferences -> Performance -> Advanced Settings and checked 'GPU Compositing'. Then back to step 1, and then everything worked fine again.

I'm using Windows 11, Photshop 25.4.0 and Camera RAW 16.2.0.1763
