I have been processing ORF files successfully or so I thought in PhotoshopCC. A friend suggested that I would get a better result if I used the OlympusWorkspace software to convert the ORF files to 16 bit TIFFs and then work on them in in Photoshop. I tried this and found it to be true, especially with shots at 1600 ISO. The resulting JPEGS are sharper and more detailed. This is really annoying as it puts in extra steps to my workflow, the Olympus converter is quite slow, and I end up with an extra TIFF file to save. On the plus side I have a better image in the end. Is the latest Camera Raw - just updated - still not up to scratch in processing Olympus ORF files?
