DMG Converter

I am unable to grab my raw files from my Nikon camera although it has never been a problem before so I reserached and it said to download the .dmg converter but when I try to install all I get is the spinning wheel of death and it never goes away and I have to force quit.  Any help is much appreciated but please answer in layman's terms as I am not a computer genius.

Sorry it should say dng converter not dmg.

It's possible that there could be a glitch in the installer package that you downloaded. My suggestion would be to try downloading the installer package again.
