I am trying to install brushes into acr.
However, there is no folder in camera raw called local setting.
My only three options are settings, camera profiles and lens profiles.
So where do I put my brush files if this folder doesn't exist?

Hi Jillianp,
That does not sound right, sorry to hear about this. Let's help make it right.
What version of Photoshop? What Operating system/version?
Are you referring to local correction settings? The folder can be found here:
Windows: Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Camera Raw\Local Corrections
You may need to turn on Show Hidden Files to see this folder: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...
Mac OS: [your user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Camera Raw/Local Corrections
You may need to use Method two in this document to access hidden user library files in OS X 10.7 or later: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/gl...
Thanks,
Akash

Hi Akash,
I did go to that exact file location on my Mac and the "localcorrections"
folder was not there.
The person I did a web chat with though adobe yesterday told me to just
make a folder in the camera raw folder and name it localcorrections.
This did not work for me as my brush presets are still not showing up up in
acr. my acr version is 11.3.1. I'm using PS CC 2019.

Seems as though your looking in the Mac HD Library. You want your User Library.
That's an easy thing to do since apple hides the user library by default.
Two easy ways to get to your User Library:
1. Click on your Desktop, click Go while holding down the Option key and you'll see Library, which is your User Library.
2. Click on your Desktop, click Go, click on Go to Folder and paste ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw then click Go
