Opening from Camera Raw minimises PS window

When I open an image from Raw into PS it minimises the PS window

I can live with it ...but it's a chore.

Any ideas why it does this for me?

Hi there,

Could you please let us know which version of Photoshop and Camera Raw you're on?
Also, which operating system are you using?

We're here to help, just need more info.

Regards,
Sahil

Minimises the PS what window, the actual image rendered from ACR or something else?

After editing in Camera Raw when I click on "open" (in Camera Raw) the image opens up in Photoshop.  If photoshop is already open in the background (which is usually the case) and maximised then when it opens it reduces the size from full screen to anything from just a few centimetres smaller to .....very small.  I always have to maximise it because I prefer to work in a full window
