Hey all! Question for the Camera Raw community. We have built a plugin that assists with LR Classic workflows. Many Camera Raw users have requested access to the plugin for their workflows. Does anyone here have insight into the potential of transitioning the LR Classic plugin into a Camera Raw workflow? I haven't found much on building plugins with Camera Raw but curious if there are any roundabout ideas. Thanks!

I come from the Lightroom-Classic community, and I ask-

Why would you need a Plugin?

You can already-

1) [Open as Smart Object] from LrC, which embeds a Smart Object layer in a Photoshop document with the Camera Raw interface easily availble by a [double-click] on the layer badge.

or-

2) [Export] as 'Original' with [Open in Photoshop] as a Post-Processing option. Then the ACR interface opens before [Open] in Ps.  (Save an Export Preset!)

Again why? The LrC Develop module is effectively the same as ACR. If anyone uses LrC then you never need to see the ACR interface.

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.
