Recent camera raw update ISSUES

Anyone else having issues with Camera Raw since the new update. I've done the same thing a million times and today - I went into camera raw - tried to select the background to make adjustments and it said it "unable to select the background in this photo" so I tried selecting the subject... same thing! HELP!  cloud Adobe Photoshop 2025 (26.0), Raw 17.0.1... Last update. I had to reload 2024 to work. These recent updates are truly bumming me out!

MAC or PC?

This feature works without issue on my Windows 11 PC system.

If you are a Windows user, suggest uploading a problem image to Dropbox or similar and posting a link here so that this can be tested on a different system.

Hey @defaultyfouj0olonn4! Just checking in—are you still having these issues? Photoshop got a new update a couple of days after your last post, so hopefully that fixed the bug. If the issue is still happening, could you upload a sample image as Erik suggested? That might help us troubleshoot further.
