The PENTAX K-3 Mark III Monochrome is a camera dedicated to monochrome photography. The image sensor of this camera does not have a color filter, so there is no need for demosaic processing of the RAW data.
Now, if I load the RAW data from this camera into Lightroom Classic, will the built-in CameraRaw perform demosaic processing? Or not?
If demosaic processing is performed, it may create noise that does not actually exist.
This is related to the quality control of image data, so I am looking for accurate information.
If possible, I would appreciate an official response from Adobe.
