Setting custom shadow and highlight endpoints in ACR?

For the most part when I hit "auto" in ACR, the suggested adjustment is in the ball park of what I'm hoping for - this other than the white and black end points which are always no where near to clipping and then I have to adjust each of these every time for harder blacks and brighter highlights. With "curves" and "levels" in Photoshop, you can adjust the white and black end points for the auto adjustment. How do I do this in ACR?

Thanks in advance! 🙂
