Super resolution not fully working with FujiFilm Raws

I have some trouble with old FujiFilm raf Raws from the S3 & S5.

Only one site is doubleing its resolution, but not the other, like 2000x6000 and not 4000x6000.

That ends in an very strange 1:2 format.

Can some one help me out with that?

Thanks and regards

I confirm the bug of the Super Resolution algoritm with Fujifilm S5pro RAF files.

Here an example:

Hey and thank you.

I have had calls and mails with Adobe and i can´t believe that they don´t see the difference between super resolution and detail enhancemend, because everyone and everytime they told me that the Fujifilm Raws does not be supporeted or are not in the List of supported Raws.

Yes thats true, but only while the list is for the detail enhancement function only and for super resolution are no limits in Raw types, even not in jpg.

So it makes no sense that Adobe says oh sorry, but your raw is not supported.

I need no Raw for super resolution, i can use a jpg also.

They have no interest in searching for a solution for such an old File, but i think that this old files take the greatest benefit of the super resolution because of their smal size.

A new Cam like a Sony A7RIII does not need a super resolution.

I am very disapointed from Adobe in this case, i have tons of good old Fuji Raws!

Thanks Guido
