Hi @ all.
I m working every day with camera raw.
During the last years, i noticed that it is getting slower day by day.
A few years ago when i moved from one photo to another, the photo was changed immediately.
Now i have to wait 3-4 - 10 seconds.
When i work with some masks, camera raw is getting slower.
When i want to off one mask for example (click on the eye icon), it need 4 5 seconds to disable the mask.
Actually i m working with a Mac Book M1 PRO MAX.
in 2022 camera raw was "smooth as butter" now.. same hardware same camera it is very slow.
I spent a lot of times looking for a solution.
I Installed old version of  OS but nothing is changed.
If is for you the same please upvote.
If you found a solution, please let me know how.
Camera raw is a must and a standard for pro and it must work super fast on good hardware.

Hey, @NilsRossi. Welcome to the Camera Raw Community. I'll help you figure this out. Do you see this when you open images via Camera Raw or the Filter > Camera Raw in Photoshop? Before anything else, please update Camera Raw & Photoshop to the latest version via the Creative Cloud desktop app and check if the issues exist.

Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Try this with Camera Raw via Photoshop:

In Photoshop, press and hold the CMD + OPT key, go to Photoshop > Settings > Camera Raw Preferences, and select 'Yes' when prompted to reset Camera Raw preferences.

Once reset, in the Camera Raw preferences, set the caches to a higher capacity. Check the content here to troubleshoot Camera Raw further: https://adobe.ly/3UXG4z9

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi@all
During the last two years, i noticed that Photoshop is getting slower... especially when i work on MacBookPro M1 MAX 32GB RAM 1TB SSD on big RGB files or on CMYK files 8000x6000 300dpi.
Especially Curves, Levels and other regulations plus zoom in zoom out (in RGB too) is very laggy and is almost impossible to work with fine tuning.
I tried to install old versions of the OS because i thought it was the cause but nothing is changed.
Someone is getting the same issue, or someone has found some solution?
I tried every combination of History - Chache levels and sizes.. but nothing.

Please i am waiting for some good advices šŸ™‚

Cheers at all
