It seems a ton of people are experiencing freezing in CameraRAW 13.1. Trying to drag any sliders causes it to get very choppy and then eventually completely freeze up the Mac. The only way out is to do a force reboot.
It seems the temporary fix is to turn off Hardware Acceleration. Go to Photoshop->Preferences->CameraRAW->Performance and set Use Graphics Processor to OFF. It will now work pefectly without freezing up, however, it'll run super-slow. It's at least a doable fix until Adobe fixes the bug.
